Museum of Arts and Traditions of Malaga is situated in the town square. The collection presents an urban and rural life of XIX-century Malaga, local crafts and customs. Old photos, tools, arts, furniture, and other objects will make you feel like going back in time.
The highlights of the museum are certainly the unique collection “Barros Malagueños” (small decorative clay sculptures depicting popular themes and people) and a fire engine with a steam pump from the XIXth century. A visit in the Museum of Arts and Traditions is an excellent way to learn about Andalusian everyday life in the past as well as culture, history, and folklore of the region.
