Come along with us on a journey to three sights near Malaga.

We will head to El Chorro, a beautiful lake surrounded by mountains and forests, to admire the natural beauty of Andalusia.
Later we will visit Bobastro, the ruins of a town in the province’s north, where Omar ben Hafsún established the capital of his estate in 880, when he rebelled against the emir of Cordoba. The remains are accessible via the Álora-Ardales route, about 2 kilometers north of El Chorro and on the southern side of the Gaitanes Gorge. We will enjoy stunning views of the surrounding region from the top of the hill and discover the ruins.

The last stop of our tour is the Ardales Cave, also known as Doña Trinidad Grund Cave. It is an ancient site containing Paleolithic cave paintings. The cave drawings in Ardales Cave, as well as those at Maltravieso Cave (Cáceres) and La Pasiega (Cantabria), have been confirmed to be the world’s earliest artistic representations, dating back over 66,000 years and believed to belong to Neanderthals. It is absolutely worth visiting during your time in Malaga.
